Mr. Sumit P is a corporate lawyer with rich experience in general corporate advisory, private equity, M&A and banking and finance.

Mr.Sumit P graduated in commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi in 1998. Thereafter, he pursued law from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. After finishing law, he started practising civil litigation and corporate advisory in New Delhi, working with law firms. Previously, he was Partner- Corporate & Banking with Kochhar & Co., before starting his own law firm by the name of Chandra Law Offices.

Mr. Sumit P has in-depth knowledge of the Indian commercial laws and is valued for his prudent and practical advice on matters. He has advised on a wide range of issues and has assisted both Indian as well as foreign companies on various transactions, including strategic acquisitions and business collaborations. Mr. Sumit P has also worked extensively with Indian and multi-national banks, assisting them in domestic lending as also ECB (external commercial borrowing) transactions. He has also assisted various private equity investors on their investments in Indian companies and advises them on various corporate matters concerning such investments.
